Concept:
This personal logo is based on my own signature and takes advantage of the graphic similarity between the capital F of my first name and the first character of my Chinese name 奉民 (fèngmín). The cursive calligraphic version of 奉 integrates a latin script signature, showing connection and compatibility between Latin and Chinese writings. This work was primarily done with an inkbrush, then scanned and vectorized. It aims at highlighting interdisciplinary skills, at the crossroads of sinology and graphic arts.
